The quote D.L Moody said rings true.
I was just glancing through a book where I saw two shocking things :
1) Gandhi ji said that "I like your Christ . I do not like you Christians . You Christians are so unlike your Christ"
2) He also said that "If it weren't for Christians, I would be a christian "
He had a reason to say that . When he was a practising hindu he wanted to know more abut Jesus. He went to a church , but was stopped from entering and thrown out because the church was for high castes .
Gandhiji never set foot in a church again. He was a man who studied the Bible and it was one of his prized possessions . He was inspired and quoted the Sermon on the mount.
Now tell me, is it fair for a man who literally followed the sermon the mount except worshipping god , to burn eternally??
A man that would have become a christian if it weren't for a few "christians" not behaving like christians or people in whom Jesus lives
.
Awesome read 👌🏽
