Our Beliefs

OUR BELIEFS

The Triune God: We believe in the one true God who exists in three persons - Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit. We affirm the divinity and humanity of Jesus Christ, who is the perfect revelation of God and the only means of salvation for humanity. The Holy Bible: We believe that the Holy Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired and authoritative Word of God. We recognize it as the supreme authority for our faith, doctrine, and conduct, and seek to study, interpret, and apply it in our lives. Salvation through Grace: We believe that salvation is a gift of God's grace, freely offered to all through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that humanity is sinful and in need of redemption, and that salvation comes through repentance, faith, and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Worship and Prayer: We believe in the importance of worship as an expression of our love, reverence, and gratitude to God. We strive to worship God in spirit and in truth, through prayer, praise, worship, and other spiritual disciplines that draw us closer to God and deepen our relationship with Him. Sacraments: We believe in the significance of the sacraments, namely baptism and communion, as outward signs of inward grace. We practice baptism as a symbol of initiation into the Christian community and communion as a remembrance of the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Christian Living: We believe that living out our faith is an integral part of our Christian journey. We seek to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ in our daily lives, reflecting His love, compassion, and character. We strive to live ethically, with integrity, humility, and a commitment to justice and mercy. Christian Community: We believe in the importance of Christian community as a source of fellowship, support, and discipleship. We value the community of believers and seek to cultivate a church family that nurtures mutual care, accountability, and growth in faith. Mission and Outreach: We believe in the Great Commission, and are called to share the good news of Jesus Christ with others and make disciples of all nations. We are committed to mission and outreach, both locally and globally, and seek to actively engage in serving and loving our neighbors, advocating for justice, and meeting the needs of the marginalized and vulnerable. Hope and Eternity: We believe in the hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ. We look forward to the second coming of Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and the establishment of God's kingdom. We hold onto the hope that God's promises will be fulfilled, and we eagerly anticipate the culmination of God's redemptive plan for humanity.
