Priyanka chechi will be sorely missed. I first met her, when she was my Sunday School teacher a few years ago. She went from a teacher to a friend in no time at all. She was a kind soul whose smile lit up the whole room. No matter when you saw her she was always smiling . As a student, I saw her go the extra mile for me, to enquire about me outside of class, to encourage me and give me a healthy dose of advice once in a while.
Her patience and gentleness were boundless and her energy was contagious. She had a heart for service.
One of her colleagues recalls speaking to her a few months before her unfortunate death. She seemed so joyful. She wanted to testify about God’s goodness in her life. Her faith and deep rooted belief in God was admirable.
But the most inspiring thing about her was the way she practiced the principles of Christianity such as Love, Gentleness, Goodness, Kindness, Selflessness.
She had made a mark on many lives and shaped the character of many people including mine. She has raised the bar for all of us. Her legacy will not be forgotten. Let us honor her memory by acting the way she did. With Love. With Joy.
