Ever wondered in most of the testimonies believers share, we frequently hear the sentence 'favor of God' working through...!!
The dictionary meaning for favor can be marked as an approval or preference so thereby the favor of God is the evidence that you have the God's approval.
To be even more specific:
Human favor can be just or unjust, it depends on something for someone and vice-versa while God's favor is based on His sovereignty, for He is under no compulsion to act, but does so according to His good pleasure, freely out of His own goodness. His favor is often accomplished using other people as well as through circumstances.
Also this neither means that one who is blessed abundantly materialistically proves of God's favor nor does it mean that those whom the Lord favors will never suffer difficulties.
Isaiah 66:2b says, “These are the ones I look on with favor: those who are humble and contrite in spirit, and who tremble at my word.”
When Daniel purposed in his heart and requested master of officials that he wouldn't defile himself to the portion of King's food or the wine he drank, Daniel and his friends found God's favor and also in the sight of officials and as a result in chapter 1 verse 20 we read as below:
" In all matters of wisdom and understanding which the King inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm "
Another example is of Noah's life:
Genesis 6:7-8 So the Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.” But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.
When we have the favor of the Lord, we have the confidence that we are within the plan of God. We begin to witness and appreciate the little blessings that God provides and not to take them for granted.

Last but not the least whoever finds wisdom from God will find life and His favor - Proverbs 8:35
Let's be grateful and yearn to follow the traits set for receiving God's approval in our lives.
